Billy McPherson, the elder of the two by a good three years or so, sings, plays keyboards, guitar, ukulele, and other assorted things. He used to play bass on all Neon Salamander recordings, but not so much these days. He has played drums a time or two also. He normally plays acoustic guitar if called upon to play guitar at all, although he owns an Epiphone Les Paul Jr. electric.
Billy was born in College Station, TX but grew up in Duncan, OK. He spent presicely eleven years at the University of Oklahoma aquiring a Master's degree, sort of blending that and his Bachelor's altogether. He's still there, by the way, nibbling away on a PHD, plus he works in some capacity as a geographer/GIScientist, although his degrees are in physics and meteorology. |
