The music for this song came to Billy one day as he was driving to college (long ago). He had a tape recorder with him and got it down before he forgot it. A tape recorder was a thing that had little reels that went around and around and the recording was made on a piece of plastic tape that wound up on the reels. Anyway, Billy and Dane recorded it on "In the Night but of the Day" - an album now banned by Neon Salamander because it's just that bad. Renee wnted the song recorded for "Salamania." Fortunately, Dane already had recorded drums and bass for an accompaniment track. So vocals and the other tracks were added and there you have it.
